This week, I finished the last components of my Digital Storytelling course. I published my game on Squiffy and detailed my creative process in a post on my blog. Then, I uploaded a short trailer for it on YouTube and posted about it.
Through these projects, I tried my best to utilize several of the tools and techniques I had used previously. A lot of elements from my earlier assignments are present in the visual assets in the game. The trailer allowed me to continue working with GarageBand, IMovie, Procreate, and Audacity. I had started working on creating my own music earlier in the semester and now I was able to use that skill again.
I am so incredibly happy to have been able to participate in this course. Working with all of these different mediums and pieces of software was an incredibly enriching experience. I am very glad to have been able to expand my horizons and experiment with so many new and interesting pieces of software. Working with them has helped given me experience doing so many things I hadn’t had any familiarity with and, for that, I am grateful.
